🌿Outdoor Therapy with Through The Trees Psychology🌿

Outdoor therapy sessions offer the opportunity to walk or sit together in natural surroundings while engaging in therapeutic work. Whether you chose this regularly or occasionally, taking therapy outside allows us to draw on the well-evidenced benefits of nature, incorporating grounding practices that support nervous system regulation and emotional wellbeing.

Following your initial assessment, conducted either online or in person at The Wellbeing Centre, Elland, you’ll have the option to include outdoor sessions as part of your therapy. Many people find that being in nature eases emotional processing, encourages creative thinking, and supports a sense of calm when working through challenges. While entirely optional, outdoor therapy is available to all clients to complement traditional therapy sessions.
